than 3600 fonts by over 350 wellknown font designers from all over the
world.
Our Font Library is the source of the originals. Fonts like Times and
Helvetica, Hermann Zapf’s Palatino or Adrian Frutiger’s Univers are
milestones in font creation and have become bestsellers and set standards in
typography worldwide. And there is no shortage of new material either – the
International Type Design Contest initiated by Linotype Library attracts
font designers from all over the world, who come to make their mark with new
designs, knowing that the winning entries will be entered into the Font
Library. The latest example is Linotype Ergo by the American Gary Munch.
Linotype couples these quality alphabets with the very best font technology
the entire font library meets Adobe standards and is laid out in
PostScript compatible programs for all type applications. Text fonts,
display fonts, digital fonts, euro fonts and symbol fonts make the Linotype
Library the base of successful design, used by professionals around the
world.
A new feature is TrueType technology for Windows fonts, which work without
the Adobe Type Manager.
